About Leslie

I cared for my grandmother and father with vision loss, diabetes, and cancer. Also for elderly neighbors with vision loss and cancer. Cooked and socialized with 15 residents in level I senior home. All part time over the course of the past 10 years. Enjoy the challenge and rewards of this population. It's not so very different from my preschool teaching work with 4-year-olds! Experience with dementia, Alzheimer, and special diets. I enjoy reading to seniors and playing board games and card games too. I love people, plants, gardens, pets, children, sunshine, fresh air and spaciousness, music, non-violent movies, theater, books, dance, arts and crafts. I'll offer phone call references when you reach out . This is my first time on this site. I can work part time for the next week (see my availability calendar) so as to fill in CARE gaps in your schedule and earn gas money for my trip back home to Vermont 9/23.
