About Leona

I am a compassionate, attentive caregiver who builds trusting relationships with children in a safe, loving environment where they feel heard, supported, and encouraged to grow. I love working with children and find joy in watching them learn, grow, and build confidence. I bring patience, warmth, and structure, turning everyday moments into meaningful learning through play and creativity. I began in high school as a youth advocate in community programs supporting children and families, which shaped my passion for childcare and education. In my spare time, I'm an artist who hosts sensory art workshops for children that encourage creativity and expression. I'm also active in my community through youth programs. I enjoy time with my fiancé and our maltipoo Salem, doing simple activities like building Legos and watching movies. I don't just supervise children I invest in their emotional and developmental growth, creating a calm, safe space where they feel valued, confident, and seen.
