About Leniya

Hi, My name is Leniya! I'm a substitute teacher with experience caring for and managing 20+ children in a classroom setting, along with family childcare experience with toddlers, older kids, and infants. I'm caring, patient, reliable, and focused on creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children. I also enjoy working with animals! I'm looking for a supportive family where I can build a genuine connection. I value communication, consistency, and a positive environment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, content creation, traveling, and writing - I'm currently working on a young adult/middle grade novel. I take childcare seriously while still knowing how to make things fun and engaging. My experience as a substitute teacher and aunt has helped me stay calm, confident, and adaptable with children of different ages and personalities.
