My desire is to help seniors with understanding their medical insurance and what is covered, help with appeals to Medicare/Medicare HMOs, and other areas where healthcare providers don't explain charges, fees, etc. The area I am presently trying to do this in is the ambulance field. Since paramedics and the dispatch system do not have any say or expertise in this matter I feel they should know more and be helped more. I don't have any medical training to help the elderly physically, but I feel I work well with this age group as I do it everyday as an ambulance claims biller.
