About Lena

During my thirties, and early forties I owned and operated a child care facility for young children, I then went to work for the Department of Recreation in Montgomery County Maryland where part of my job entailed planning and implementing activities for youth. After 20 years I retired in 2007 and returned to doing what I really loved - opened and operated a child care center in my home until 2013, when I moved to Florida. After a few years in Florida I did a bit of senior care that I obtained through Care. com. I have been enjoying my retirement but I am now ready to return to the job of caring for children which is my first passion.
