About Lela

Nurturing young minds is more than a job; it's my greatest passion. I've been working with kids since I was a kid myself, always babysitting or working summer camps. It's all I've ever wanted to do. I've been a preschool teacher for five years and have had the joy of caring for children aged newborn to 11, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. My background includes Early Childhood Education (ECE), a Child Development Associate (CDA), and Early Child Development Coursework at a graduate level. I am also a Certified Teacher well versed in Reggio Emilia and Montessori styles, and I maintain current First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am a big fan of getting messy, dance parties, outdoor exploration, sensory play, and crafts. I am patient, creative, friendly, silly, and I'm comfortable enforcing your household rules and responsibilities. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience into your home and meet a new tiny best friend to spend my time with!
