About Leila

I'd describe my personality as patient, intuitive, and easygoing. I like tutoring because I loved school & I know how rewarding it feels to grasp a concept you never thought you could understand (aka me wrapping my mind around thermodynamics in AP Chem my junior year of high school). Knowledge really is power. & learning to critically think at a young age made me the person I am today. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling. I started tutoring when I was in high school. In my spare time, I like to read, creative write, go to the movies (AMC A List!), collage, and go to concerts. One thing you should know about me is I have 3 nephews & 1 niece ranging from the ages of 4-21 and they mean the world to me. My 21-year-old nephew loves to joke that he only knows half the state capitals because the test was done in 2 parts over 2 weeks & I was out of town for the second half to help him study, My skills include writing, editing, and critical thinking.
