About Leanne

Hi, I'm Leanne! I'm a mom of two adult children(23 & 26). My son has autism and Fragile X Syndrome. After spending 20 years as a stay at home mom, I worked for 4 years at my church. For that I always worked with a co teacher and we had a class of 5 to 8 very busy baby/toddlers to keep up with! Since then I've been working as a part time nanny/as needed sitter for a few different families with kids ranging from newborn to age 3, both typical and special needs children. I prefer working with babies and young children and am happy to care for either typically developing or special needs children. I'm a Samford grad with a degree in math. I am a follower of Christ. In my spare time I enjoy reading and fostering cats and kittens for the humane society.
