About Leah

I am an Irish primary school teacher currently living and working on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I work at a very well-respected preschool, where I teach young children in a nurturing, play-based environment. I have over 10 years of paid childcare experience and have worked with children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to teenagers. As a qualified teacher, I have taught children aged 2-12 both in Ireland and New York. I am warm, reliable, patient, and passionate about helping children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. I am available for tutoring and homework help, drawing on my teaching experience to support children's confidence and learning. I am a huge animal lover, especially dogs, and offer dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding. I treat every pet as if they were my own and love spending time with animals. I am currently off school for the summer and have flexible availability for babysitting, nannying, tutoring, and pet care!
