About Leah

My name is Leah, and I am seeking a full time nannying position this summer from early May through late August! I have over five years of experience working with children which has given me a foundational knowledge of childhood development and strong skills in communication and adaptability. I am very child-centered in my approach to nannying - I aim to meet each child where they are at and respond with care, intention, and specificity. I believe that the care-centered relationships I build with children are the most important and rewarding aspect of my work. I recognize the significance of a nanny's role in children's lives, and work to provide consistent care, emotional support, and compassionate behavioral management which is attuned to each family's values and culture. I love to engage with children through art projects and creative play activities that support literacy and open up a space for self-expression and connection! I have certifications in first aid and CPR.
