About Leah

Hello! My name is Leah and I am looking for childcare job opportunities in the Pioneer Valley this summer! I have experience as a babysitter, preschool literacy educator (through the Jumpstart program), after school tutor (elementary level reading and math), summer camp assistant director (ages 5-12), and dance teacher (ages 5-12). I am very child-centered in my approach to childcare- I aim to meet each child where they are at and respond with care, intention, and specificity. Throughout my work with children, I view building caring and supportive connections as the most important part of my work. In my work with children, I love being outside, reading books, and working creatively! I am trained in adult and pediatric first aid, CPR, AED, medication administration, and concussion intervention.
