About Leah

My name is Leah. I am a childcare provider and an educator with experience teaching ESL, reading, writing, and math to students of all ages. I am also a trained artist who enjoys taking on new challenges, being spontaneous and discovering new music. I started working with children as a volunteer in elementary schools and at summer camps before working as an art instructor. After graduating from college, I taught English abroad for 4 years before coming back to the States and working as a tutor in reading, writing and math for neurodivergent students. More recently, I worked within a public school district providing services for students in foster care and working in an after-school program before transitioning into nannying. Children have such a beautiful way of viewing the world and loving those around them. It's a joy to be part of their maturation and growth and to encourage them to become the best versions of themselves.
