About Leah

Hi! My name is Leah, I live in Naples. I have always loved working with children. I am currently a special educator, working withbgrades 3-5. I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education, and am a certified k-8 teacher and have mybmadters in special education. I have experience with children ranging from ages birth- 17. I am comfortable with diaper/brief/pull-up changing, toilet training assistance and feeding. I am familiar with mic-key tube feedings as well. I have a daughter who is almost 3 and has ASD. I enjoy outdoor play with children, regardless of the weather. In the summer, I love going to local beaches, rivers, ponds and parks to find a way to stay cool and enjoy the weather. In the winter, I love taking kids out to play in the snow or go sledding. As for indoor activities, dressing up is always a good time, and crafts are often a fun and relaxing way to spend a quiet afternoon.
