About Leah

I grew up and started working at a Bible camp, called Camp Fairwood. I have worked in the kitchen, cleaned, and was a lifeguard. Once I turned 18, I started counseling. Since then, I have worked at two camps. Most counselors supervise a cabin of 8-10 children 24 hours 5 days a week. I mentored Senior High, instructed crafts, educated K-2nd grade, tutored Jr. High, and led activities for children of all ages. I also have experience working with two different day cares (in Iowa and Wisconsin), and I have been a nanny to a number families and an au pair over seas in Luxembourg. I enjoy building into children's lives and seeing them develop different skills, whether that is infants or teens. I'm the past, I have been certified in CPR, AED, First Aide, and lifeguard training. I am a water color artist. I can play piano and enjoy many different styles of music. I love keeping busy, making crafts, or taking walks.
