About Leah

Hi! I'm a senior in college studying psychology with over 6 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. Throughout my experience, I've developed strong skills in patience, communication, and creating a safe, positive environment where kids can thrive. My background in psychology and my upcoming Transition to Teaching program in special education have given me a strong understanding of child development and how to support children with different needs and learning styles. I'm especially good at staying calm, adaptable, and attentive to each child's individual personality. In past roles, I've planned engaging activities like park days, playground trips, swimming, and outings to places like the children's museum and zoo. I love keeping kids active, entertained, and learning through fun experiences.
