About Leah
I am a certified teacher in the state of Florida who recently moved to Chicago. I currently work as a teaching artist with the American Blues Theatre, but I do miss teaching the core subjects. My primary experience in the classroom was with middle school-aged children, but I tutored after school and my pupils ranged in age from 5th-12th grade. In addition, I have worked with high-school Juniors on SAT and ACT prep and well as college entrance essays. I also currently work with students in graduate school and college on essay writing. My side gig is roller derby, and I teach that as well. In fact, skating is one of my favorite things to teach, be it on ice skates, roller blades, or quads!
