About Leah

Hi! I'm a patient and supportive tutor with years of hands-on experience helping my younger brother, as well as family and friends, with their academic work. Through this experience, I've developed a strong ability to break down lessons in a way that's easy to understand and tailored to each child's learning style. I provide tutoring support in reading, writing, homework help, study skills, and foundational math. I focus on building confidence, improving comprehension, and creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. My approach is encouraging, structured, and adaptable. I understand that every child learns differently, and I take pride in helping students feel more confident in their abilities both in and out of the classroom. My goal is to support students academically while helping them develop skills they can use long-term.
