About Lea

Hello! I'm Léa, and I have 10+ years of childcare experience as a full-time nanny, after-school babysitter, camp counselor, and classroom assistant. During my studies at Minerva University, I lived in seven cities and worked as a museum educator, teacher's assistant, children's book editor, and French tutor - experiences that deepened my love for creative, global learning. I come from a family of teachers and grew up in IB, MYP, PYP, and IPC schools. I believe in play-based learning, nurturing curiosity, and encouraging independence. I'm fluent in French and English and currently learning Spanish. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, baking, and crafts. This is my first time using Care. com; I previously worked with College Nannies and Sitters (now Jovie) and privately with French families in NYC. Happy to share references!
