Hi! I graduated from Huston-Tillotson University on May 5, 2018, with a Bachelor's in Education (EC-6), and I'm currently getting my master's in applied behavioral analysis. I have 15+ years of childcare experience-teaching PreK and 6th grade, providing ABA therapy for clients from 18 months to 40 years old, and nannying/babysitting kids from 18 months to 16. I'm in the process of renewing my CPR certification after moving. I'm energetic, patient, and love helping kids work through emotions. I played volleyball collegiately and overseas, and I've coached at the high school and club levels, which shaped my leadership and motivation style. Laycia wrangled our twin 4 year old boys in our hotel with great humor and care. They loved her! Her communication was excellent and it is obvious that she has a passion for ensuring that children thrive in a safe and fun environment.
