About Laurin

I'd describe my personality as dedicated, caring, nurturing, fun, & empathetic. I like working with kids because kids are the future. I've always been told I was great with kids & have always enjoyed being around kids. I'm looking for a job that fits along with my skills & experience, where I can also apply them. I started working with children when I was young. I worked as an assistant teacher for preschool, then became a teacher after completing DCF courses. I took some college courses for teaching, then pursued healthcare. I then became a Certified Medical Assistant for Advent Health Pediatric GI. In my spare time, I like to travel different places with my son or do fun activities at home. I also like to go to the beach or have a good movie night at home. One thing you should know about me is I'm a Mommy of a 3 yr old who I home school at the moment, working part time & attending college. My skills include communication, patience, empathy, creativity, & practical skills
