About Astrid

We have had the absolute pleasure of working with Astrid since April 2025, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has cared for our toddler in our home and has become a trusted, steady presence in our family’s daily life. From day one, Astrid was warm, patient, and incredibly attentive to our child’s needs and personality. She learned his routines quickly and respected the boundaries and expectations we put in place, while still bringing her own creativity and joy to their days together. Whether it was reading books, playing on the floor, going for walks, or guiding him through meals and nap time, she always approached him with calm energy, kindness, and genuine affection. Safety and reliability are extremely important to us, and Astrid excelled in both areas. She was always punctual, communicated clearly about her schedule, and let us know how the day went, including any changes in mood, appetite, sleep, or behavior. I always felt comfortable leaving our toddler in her care, knowing that she was attentive, careful, and proactive. Astrid is also very respectful in our home. She keeps play areas tidy, helps with child-related tasks, and is thoughtful about following our household routines and preferences. She listens, asks questions when needed, and is very open to feedback, which made it feel like a true partnership rather than just “coverage.” Any family who has the opportunity to hire Astrid will be very fortunate. She is loving, dependable, and professional, and she genuinely cares about the children she works with. We recommend her without hesitation.
