I am a pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant - I was just laid off from my job due to downsizing. I am playful, flexible and reliable. I know how hard it is to entrust somebody else to care for the most important people in your world. I am vaccinated. I am mom of three, now 32, 29 & 24, and Gramma to an adorable 2-year-old! I am CPR & First-aid certified. Former Gymboree teacher/manager (ran infant class for babies 0-6 months) Love pets, happy owner of 11-year-old mini-Goldendoodle, African Grey parrot and grew up with animals of all kinds.

We hired Laurie for a half day to watch our 11 month old, and were so happy with the experience. We were not sure how our baby would handle the time with a nanny, since she is definitely a COVID baby, but she was happy the whole time she was with Laurie. Laurie was super friendly, clearly comfortable and competent with little ones, and kept our baby happy and entertained and even successfully put her down for her afternoon nap, which is a mighty feat! She also went above and beyond during our baby's nap and did some light house cleaning so I returned home from work with the dishwasher full, the toys organized, and things looking better than when I left! Highly recommend!
