About Laurie

Thoughtful, educated older woman seeking to be a partner and support to someone special. It's not just a job. If we are true human beings, it is a journey we take together. To this journey, I bring experience having taken care of a family member dealing with late stage Alzheimer's for 4 years. In college, I studied human development throughout the lifetime and did my final practicum as an asst. Activity Therapist in a nursing home. I have spent most of my life working with families and children as a teacher. I bring knowledge and understanding to elder care and a lot of empathy too. Growing old is not for sissies! I am a person of faith, one who doesn't have to talk about it, but is always glad to pray for or with you. I am looking for part time work but have flexibility in my hours. Let's have a conversation.
