About Laurie

Hello! My name is Laurie and I am a former preschool teacher. I have 8-9 years of experience working with children 2-10 and specialize in the arts and crafts. I have also created and facilitated summer camps and so I know how to schedule a successful day of activities, down time, meal prep, self care, arts and crafts, and just the general flow of a day. I am looking for time work as I have another part time job as a social/emotional specialist. I will be moving to Lafayette, CO this August and am looking for part time work till February 2026 (possibly longer). I have extensive courses in early childhood development and have all sorts of experience in Montessori, Reggio, and Waldorf education. Needless to say I am extremely well rounded! I also have one cat, am married, love the outdoors, have a car, am not a smoker, and live in San Rafael.
