Hi! My name is Emma and I'm excited that you are reading this bio! I have experience working from 3mo-17yr of age, I have my bachelor's degree in psychology, and I currently work full time as a Speech Language Therapy Facilitator for Denver Public Schools. My favourite part about caring for children is seeing the development as kids age (and the hugs too of course!!!). I love doing arts and crafts, playing outside (even if it means loosing at sports lol), baking, or even just practicing the fine art of conversation with your little ones. I also provide homework help and ensure full clean up from any activities the kids and I do in our time together. Let me know if this sounds like a good fit for your family!

My daughters have loved Emma’s visits, she is very interactive with them.

Emma was so helpful when our son was too sick for daycare and came on short notice so we were able to not miss a day of work. She is caring and creative and I would recommend her to anyone looking for care. 

Emma is one of the best babysitters I have found and I want to keep her all to myself! Emma is legit my favorite babysitter to hire. I know without a doubt that my kids are happy, attended to, and respectful. She has blown me away by also cleaning up the house before I get home and playing with my animals. Emma is excellent with children. My kids adore her because she is patient and kind. She finds great ways to connect with them and shares common interests such as Harry Potter. Emma has taken courses in child-development and developmental psychology which gives me confidence that when she babysits, it is a passion of hers rather than just a source of income. She has experience with children of all ages, to include my three children ranging from infants to age nine.

I have witnessed Emma interact with children and young adults and have always been impressed by her calm, kind and mature demeanor. She listens carefully and possesses the great skill of being able to explain things on different levels. She is an intelligent, caring and focused person. I know she would excel at any task she puts her mind to and would highly recommend her for any position she seeks.

We hired Emma several times to watch our teenage special needs son. She is super nice and was always helpful with him. Emma was always on time, which was important as sometimes she would receive him off the school bus.

His disabilities include speech and cognitive delays, he is legally blind (though he manages well in the house), and has some behavioral issues. 

She took care of him well, feeding him dinner, giving him a bath, and helping him get ready for bed. He looked forward to days when she was sitting.

We always felt he was safe and we never had to worry.

Emma is an exceptional caregiver. When I interviewed her, she came prepared with references and credentials. Emma communicated her experiences caring for children and the different families she worked for in the past. It was comforting knowing that she kept in contact with the families. She has a background in caring for children with special needs, which was very impressive. My son is more of an introvert, and it is challenging for him to warm up to anybody. I was amazed at how easily Emma was able to connect with my son right away. He felt comfortable talking with her and sharing his interests. They still keep in contact today. He used to look forward to the days she would come over. He always asked me, "Is Emma coming today?" She made such a positive impact on my son's life, and I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to meet and work with her. Emma is very dependable, always on time, and an excellent communicator. She truly is an exceptional person.

She is super engaging with the children. Gets on their level and isn't afraid to let them play with her hair or pretend to drink tea with them. My kids adored her when she lived near us and miss her terribly.
