About Laurie

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, personable and friendly. I like caring for seniors because it provides me a chance to give back and show respect to those who came before me. I'm looking for a job that provides me with flexibility and the ability to care for others. I have several years of caring for the elderly and those who are at end of life. In my spare time, I like to read, do crafts, walk and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is I have a outgoing personality, am very family orientated, have strong morals and ethics and am a mother of 4 and grandmother of 6! My skills include dementia training, safety training and ethics and boundaries training. I have other numerous trainings on caring for the elderly. I found myself suddenly unemployed after 30 years of experience in social work and decided to change course in assisting the elderly in need.
