About Laurette

Hi, My name is Laurette and I am 23 y/o. I have experience working as a preschool teacher where I became CPR, first aid, and DCF certified. I worked mostly with 3 y/o but also got experience in other classrooms ranging from infants to elementary age. I am currently on a journey to certify & work as a doula. I'm hoping to help other folks have families, and a family of my own one day. I adore kids and working with them. I understand the value and importance of a good caretaker to a family. I want to ensure that you feel heard, and respected- after all- your kid, your rules! I deeply care about a child's development, mental stimulation, and emotional support. I can also help out with meals, light cleaning and chores like dishes, sweeping, and laundry. I have a car and license, and also love all pets! I currently live in Gainesville, FL but will be moving into a home in West Asheville early August!
