About Lauren

Hello! I am Lauren, I am 30 years old, I live in SandPoint, Seattle. I have 10+ years of childcare experience. I started babysitting at age 10! Some things about me- I love space, dinosaurs, reading, outdoor activities, dressing up/makeovers, and creative activities. I'm not afraid to get messy, I love teaching, learning, and creating new ways for children to experience the world. I am nannying for now but my main life goal is to write and illustrate children's books. My favorite things to do with kiddos are nature walks, the Aquarium/Planetarium, Museum, zoos, parks, adventures, art, and the Library. I'm willing to try new places/things, i'm super easy going/go with the flow. I am covid vaxxed, CPR trained, choking/first aid, and I've handled many toddler-kid crisis' s (especially little boys) I am prepared for anything. I like to stay up to date on childcare books/instagrams/articles. I practice gentle parenting methods and Montessori learning.
