About Lauren

My name is Lauren, and I have been a tutor for four years. I began tutoring during high school because I love teaching, breaking down the learning process, and helping students understand complex concepts. This past May, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with my degree in Secondary Education. I student taught in a 6th grade ELA classroom, and also have experience substitute teaching in grades K-12. As a tutor, my specialty is English, but I am also proficient in math, social studies, and science. I value the opportunity to work with families and their students, and am always happy to connect and provide more information!
