About Lauren

I'm a recent Colgate University graduate , highest Latin honors, with an interdisciplinary background spanning philosophy, math, and the arts. I love working with students across subjects because I believe learning is most powerful when it's interdisciplinary. I tutor algebra, geometry, precalculus, and calculus (AB/BC), argumentative writing, analytical writing, symbolic logic, and western philosophy. My philosophy training makes me strong in logic and structured reasoning, while my background in film and visual art helps me approach learning creatively and flexibly. I enjoy helping students see connections between subjects and build confidence in both analytical and expressive skills. I strive to create a patient, encouraging space where students feel supported and capable. My goal is to help them develop strong reasoning, organization, and creative thinking that lasts well beyond one assignment.
