About Yao
Experience: 8 yrs
Hi! My name is Yao, and I'm an experienced K-12 tutor and educator with a strong background in English, Fine Arts, and individualized learning support. I earned my undergraduate degree in English and Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and am currently a Master of Fine Arts student at UCLA. I previously worked as an Arts Education Manager at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where I designed and led curriculum-based programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. I have experience supporting students with reading, writing, homework help, organization, and creative projects. As a tutor, I'm patient, encouraging, and attentive to each child's learning style. I value clear communication with families and enjoy helping students build confidence and succeed academically.
