About Lauren

My name is Lauren, I'm originally from Michigan and I am currently here pursuing my doctorate in school psychology. I am 25, in my 3rd year of the program and have been working work kids in carious capacities for over 10 years. I started as a babysitter for local families until I could drive and worked as a nanny full-time over the summers (my biggest family had 4 kids under 5!). In college I worked at a daycare center as a floater teacher where I was able to get more experience working with all ages and stages. After working my way up to lead preschool teacher I applied to be an ABA therapist working with kids on the autism spectrum. This is where I discovered the field of school psychology and decided to pursue a career that fostered my love for working with kids. The families that I've worked for in the past have truly become like my own, and I'd love to help out yours in any way that I can :)
