About Maya

My name is Maya and I am a rising senior where I am majoring in elementary education, minoring in special education, and getting certified in ESL. I have student taught in fourth grade and I have been babysitting for 5 years, nannying for 1. 5 years and been a camp counselor for 5 summers. In addition I have worked at an elementary school for three years as an aftercare teacher, first grade assistant teacher, and a substitute. I bring joy and nurturing care to children. I desire to positively impact young lives and support families. I'm patient, friendly, and comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate regularly. I enjoy playing outdoors, games, and other educational games with children of all ages. I am First Aid and CPR certified. I am happy to help with light cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, and even travel. I'm eager to provide a safe and enriching environment.
