About Lauren

I moved to New York City from Salt Lake City, Utah after college to pursue acting. I love incorporating my theatrical skills with kids; playing pretend with them, doing silly dances, and singing our favorite tunes. As a performer, I'm always trying to connect with my inner child to find a sense of freedom and play in my work, and I love working with kids because with them, I am given full permission to do so! I am familiar with school pick ups and navigating the subway and bus systems in the city. I am comfortable being in an assertive position but always treat human beings, especially children, with kindness. I'm also a huge animal person and especially love cats! I've owned many types of pets, including dogs, cats, rodents, and a horse, and volunteered in an animal shelter for many years, as well as being employed at Utah's Hogle zoo in college!
