About Emily

Hi I'm Emily! I'm a KY girl pursuing my dreams of dance & theatre in nyc! I'm searching for babysitting jobs that are a couple days a week, or as needed coverage for date nights/etc. to add onto my other work opportunities. I have a creative, passionate, and bright personality that I bring to every job! Working with kids reminds me of childlike wonder and joy in the world, and seeing their growth over time is so rewarding. I first worked with kids in Jr. High in the church nursery, but the bulk of my experience was as a summer camp counselor! I spent 4 years through college mentoring girls of all ages ages in cabins and leading a plethora of outdoor activities! It was absolutely life changing, and the best job in the world! There, I honed childcare skills like Creativity, Organization, Empathy, Active Listening, and especially Play. In my free time, I'm a reader, an artist of many mediums, a devoted plant mom, and love exploring the city with friends! *Note: I have cat allergy.*
