About Lauren

My tutoring expertise is in Math. I am currently tutoring a 4th grade student in Math. However, I can also assist children from grades pre-K to 8th in all other subjects as well. This is because I am a certified teacher with seven years teaching experience. I have taught both regular education students and special education students. I understand how students struggle and know many different strategies and approaches to help them learn best. My goal with teaching is to find a way to engage that student into learning and to effectively bridge the gap between what they know and what they do not know, in order to help each student show growth and to be successful in each subject.
