About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I have over a decade of child care experience. Professionally, I've worked as a classroom educator in the non-profit setting and as an elementary school teacher in Philly. I am currently completing a doula training, and have experience caring for infants and babies as well! I'm looking for part time child-care work while in grad school at SFSU studying Sexuality Studies, which I plan on using to continue teaching sex and health ed. I value direct communication and clear expectation from parents, and always try to be present while working with kids (for me this looks like not being on my phone, fully engaging in the activities at hand, and giving the little ones my full attention). I genuinely enjoy working with kids, have references available upon request, and thank you for your time and consideration!
