I started babysitting children at the young age of 13. Since then I have cared for three children on the autism spectrum. I worked at a day care while attending Lake Michigan College full time as an Early Childhood major. When I was in high school I attended the Lawrence Vocational Center, and I was accepted into the Cadet Teacher Academy for aspiring teachers. We had the choice of two grade levels that we wanted to intern in. And I chose 2nd and 3rd grade. I did this my junior and senior year. My passion has been for many years and is to educate children.
