About Lauren

I have a B. S. Ed degree in Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education and my M. Ed in Early Childhood Special Education Autism. I am Missouri certified to teach grades birth-6th general education and birth-12th grades special education. I currently work for a school district as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and I have over 10 years experience with education. I have had internships in both a Kindergarten and third grade classroom as well as tutoring experiences with children in a variety of grades, abilities, and learning styles. I have knowledge and experience with Show Me Standards, Common Core, and Missouri Early Standards as well as standardized assessments including MAP and ACT. I am comfortable teaching all general subjects up to grade 6 in addition to test prep. During the pandemic, I have been providing not only 1-1 tutor with select families virtually and in person, I've also been providing consultation for at home learning experiences.
