About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I have 4+ years of experience looking after my friend's babies and kids, as well as 4+ years working with young adults with cognitive and developmental disabilities (their mental age was about elementary school age). In my professional setting, I coordinated daily schedules, personalized activities, and community outings to support skill-building, independence, and joy. I managed staff, collaborated with families, and ensured every need was met with patience and respect. I believe care should be person-centered, meeting each individual where they are. I'm highly organized-keeping schedules, transportation, and documentation running smoothly-and adaptable when plans change. I'm creative, dependable, and passionate about making every day meaningful. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging environment where children feel valued and supported, while learning new things about the world around them and connecting them to the community.
