About Lara

I have several years of experience caring for children ranging from 4 months to 15 years old. I'm passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. In addition to general childcare, I have hands-on experience working with children who have developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and speech delays. I've previously worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I used evidence-based strategies to support children's behavioral, social, and communication goals in both home and clinical settings. This experience has taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of individualized care. Whether I'm soothing an infant, helping with homework, or encouraging positive behaviors through play and structure, I bring a compassionate and attentive approach to every family I work with. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified, and always prioritize safety and open communication with parents.
