About Lauren

I'd describe myself as a silly goose. I love laughing and having fun with amazing little humans. I'm looking for parents who are interested in a licensed in-home daycare, who want their kids to be outside playing the majority of the day. I started working with kids when I was a kid. I spent countless hours babysitting my siblings and neighbor kids. I have worked in equine therapy, schools, behavioral health hospitals, and even a Zipline over the last 10 years. I majored in Therapeutic Recreation, so I love all manner of hobbies. In my spare time, I am usually outside - though I love painting, playing the piano and guitar, Board games, and Aqua Zumba. I created We Play Outside to provide a setting for children to learn naturally, playfully, and outdoors. I am passionate about what I do, and strive for our program to be more than "just" daycare - I want to build a village of support for each kid and family.
