About Lauren

I was a nanny for 10 years before pursuing a master's degree to become a child and adolescent therapist. I'm looking for a summer job between school years. I love being a nanny. I enjoy playing on the floor, reading the same book 20 times a day, and making up silly songs. I can make anything into a craft. I enjoy planning fun outings, including visits to the Children's Museum, Pike Place Market, U-pick farms, and baseball games. I'm studying human development, and I've worked with Running Start students who are 15-19. Past employers say I am patient, present, joyful, and communicate openly and honestly. I find fun ways to educate. For example, I adapted Dungeons and Dragons to teach math and storytelling.
