About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I'm 25. I'm on my 3rd year of college, majoring in psychology with a minor in child/family development. I'm the eldest girl of 8 siblings so I feel like I've been in childcare my whole life, but I've been a professional nanny/autism aid for 5 years. My first full time service was to my youngest brother, when I was 21. I watched him from the time he was 3 months up until he hit a year, for 45hrs a week. My first professional gig was right after Covid and I worked with a family that had 4 kids. I was mainly hired for their 2yr old, but I also was in charge of their 3 other children when they weren't in school. I handled meal prep, drop offs, potty & sleep training, etc. Next I did short term nannying work while I worked on getting my certifications to begin autism work. Once completed, I worked as an autism aide for 2 years. I finished my last nannying job at the end of December due to me moving and I'm so excited to find the next family to serve and child to love!
