About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, straightforward and encouraging. I like tutoring because every child has a bright light of potential shinning inside of them and regular classroom structure can't always bring that out. I'm looking for a job that fits the family's and child's needs and schedule. I am current pursing a masters degree online and have a very flexible schedule. I previously taught second and third grade Spanish at a local elementary school as a part of my minor in hispanic studies and spanish language at UT. I have the ability to assist student from an elementary-high school level. In my spare time, I like to visit the quarry and hang out with my cats. One thing you should know about me is I am an excellent listener and coach, and I am confident I can help your student reach their goals. My skills include consistency, specialized coaching and setting achievable goals.
