About Erin

I began tutoring all the way back in high school through a volunteer program. I went to art school and I am certified as an art teacher, but my employers and school administrators have had me teaching and tutoring in various subject areas for years. I am currently teaching an intervention reading program with elementary students who are below grade level for reading and language arts. Reading/Language arts my preferred area to tutor and I could tutor K-12th grade students. As well as any Social Studies or other humanities-related class. I am proficient in Spanish and could tutor students who are struggling to learn Spanish for a foreign language credit. I took Latin and French in high school and college also so I could tutor those too, provided I was able to look over your child's curriculum to familiarize myself with it. I could also tutor some elementary math, but I would have to discern that on an individual basis. In terms of science, I took a lot of anatomy and physiology all the way through college, and I could tutor that, or any of the environmental sciences/ecology for students through 12th grade.
