About Lauren

Hi, my name is Lauren and I am a friendly empathetic, responsible, and kind person who values making a positive impact in others lives. It is truly important to me that the care recipient feels comfortable, cared-for, and understood. I like to get to know a person such as learning about their preferences, what brings them joy, what they value, and getting to hear about their life stories. I have had very positive experiences in a few different senior-care roles such as working in an assisted living home as a dining aid and being an ongoing volunteer at an exercise and health program for seniors where we did activities which not only helped to improve physical health, but also provided a space to socialize with others in the community and brighten each other's days. A little more about me- I love to do things outdoors whether that's going for walks, checking out the tide pools, gardening, or anything in the sun really. I also love animals and spending time with friends and family.
