About Laurene

Hi! My name is Laurene! I have been babysitting and working with kids since I was 12 or 13. Along with babysitting around my home town of Burlingame CA I worked as a gymnastics coach for about 4 years at the club I competed for. I also worked as a camp counselor at Mountain Camp Woodside for a summer and prior to that I was a CIT at the camp for 3 years. I loved my job at Stem Sprouts day care where I assisted in watching over 18-month-olds to 7-year-olds. I am currently a ski instructor and prior to living in South Lake Tahoe I worked for a lovely family with 2 small children as their full time nanny for over a year. I have worked with kids of all ages including kids with special needs. my main goal is to create a happy and healthy environment for the kids I work with while also having lots of fun! I am CPR/ First Aid certified and have taken several early childhood development classes at Santa Barbara city college where I was studying to be a teacher.
