About Lauren

Hi. My name is Lauren. I am going into my tenth year of being an educator. I am currently living and working in Miami Dade county. I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education K-6, my Masters of Education in Exceptional Student Education K-12, and am certified/endorsed in Reading, ESOL, and Gifted Education. The first year I taught 3rd grade, I was told that all of my students were expected to pass FSA. With that being said, through all of the hard work and dedication I put into my students, I was the only teacher to have all of their students pass the FSA. Currently, I am a ESE Support Facilitator for 2nd and 3rd graders, and I truly love what I do! I am a highly-effective teacher, as well as a high-impact teacher as per the State of Florida. I set goals for my students, provide feedback, communicate high expectations, help students interact with new knowledge, and show them that they are capable of doing anything if they set their mind to it!
