About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as extremely hardworking, patient, encouraging and adaptable. I like tutoring kids because they have a natural curiosity that makes learning genuinely exciting. Helping young learners build confidence early on gives them a strong foundation that lasts a lifetime! I'm looking for a role where I can build strong, encouraging relationships with students and tailor my teaching to how each child learns best. Ideally, I'd love to work with an organization or family that values patient, creative instruction and fosters a positive environment where kids feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. I've been tutoring kids since my sophomore year of high school. In my spare time, I stay active by going for runs and practicing yoga. I also really value family time, so I love visiting my grandparents whenever I can, and I regularly spend time volunteering in the community.
