About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren. I'm a certified teacher focused on supporting multilingual learners to enhance their English skills. I provide tutoring services to support literacy skills, conversation skills, and pronunciation practice. I'd describe my personality as patient, flexible and welcoming. I like tutoring because it allows me to make connections with students and families. I'm looking for a job that offers a flexible schedule and open communication. I started tutoring in 2018. In my spare time, I like to go to yoga to stay active. I love to take photos, and most importantly, I love spending time with my family! One thing you should know about me is I am committed to my students and I will work hard to make sure they feel comfortable and safe to grow and learn with me. My skills include attention to detail when lesson planning, fostering relationships with students and families through collaborative practices, and adaptability in uncertain situations.
